1. The short version
When you first arrive, this site sets nothing except what is strictly necessary. No statistics or marketing cookie is written unless you actively accept it, and “Reject all” is offered with exactly the same prominence as “Accept all”. Your choice is stored in a single first-party cookie and you can change it at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary (always on) — Needed for the site to work: remembering your cookie choice, keeping the consultation form usable and protecting the forms against automated abuse. No profiling, never shared.
- Statistics (consent required) — Aggregated measurement of which pages are read and where visitors leave, so the site can be improved. Loaded only with your consent.
- Marketing (consent required) — Lets us measure whether a visit that began with a Microsoft Advertising or search advertisement resulted in a consultation request. Loaded only with your consent.

The statistics and marketing rows describe what would be set if you accept that category. Until you do, those scripts are not loaded at all — the consent signal is sent as denied before any tag can run, so nothing is written in the gap between page load and your decision.
4. Microsoft Consent Mode v2
This site implements Microsoft Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, the site pushes a default signal of ad_storage: denied together with denied values for ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage. If you accept marketing cookies, an update signal grants those values; if you reject, or later withdraw, they stay denied and any advertising measurement is limited to non-identifying aggregated modelling. Rejecting has no effect on your ability to use this site or to contact us.
5. Other storage
This site does not use local storage, session storage, browser fingerprinting or tracking pixels for advertising outside the mechanism described above. The map embedded on the Contact page is served by openstreetmap.org, which receives your IP address in order to deliver the map tiles and does not set advertising cookies.
6. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer to reopen the banner and change any category. You can also delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and causes the banner to be shown again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
7. Legal basis
Storing or reading non-essential information on your device requires consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive as implemented in the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014), section 205. Where a cookie also involves personal data, the processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
